1. Information We Collect

When you use our contact, RSVP, private event and newsletter forms, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, event details, and message content. With each submission we also keep a little context: which form and event it came from, the page you were on, how you found us (for example a referring site or campaign link), your device type and time zone, and a one-way hash of your IP address that we use only to stop spam.

To remember how you first found us, our site stores that information in your own browser (local storage) and sends it only when you submit a form. It is not used to track you across other websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, confirm RSVPs, process event requests, and keep one contact record for you in our secure database, so we know which of our events you have joined. We only send you invitations, news and offers if you opt in (for example by ticking "Send me invites and news"). When you do, we may tailor them to the kinds of events you have shown interest in. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers (such as Microsoft, which hosts our website, email and contacts database, and Eventbrite, where you complete event registration) solely to operate our website and communicate with you.

4. Cookies & Tracking

If you choose "Accept analytics," we use Microsoft Application Insights and anonymous cookies to count visitors and sessions, understand which pages, referring sites and campaigns bring guests to Babe, measure site performance, and record high-level actions such as a successful form submission or a directions click. Analytics may include a general location, browser and device category. Microsoft receives the connecting IP address to deliver and geographically enrich the telemetry, then masks it before storage. We never attach your name, email, phone number, message, or form contents to analytics.

Analytics stays off until you accept. You can decline or change your choice at any time using "Analytics preferences" in the footer. Declining later removes the analytics cookies from this site and stops future analytics. Microsoft retains our analytics data for 30 days. This is separate from the browser storage used to attach campaign context to a form you choose to submit.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw your marketing consent, at any time by contacting us. If you ask us to delete your data, we keep only a one-way hash of your email address so we never email you again by mistake.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
