Babe didn't want to choose between a neighborhood café and a nightlife destination — so it became both. By morning, sunlit tables for coffee and conversation. By night, a lit stage, a bar pouring signature cocktails, and a room made for dancing.
Over time it became something bigger: a place where people, culture, business, creativity and community connect.
Meet Madame X
Bridgette Vital, the vision behind Babe
Known to regulars as "Madame X," Bridgette founded Babe to create the kind of room she wanted to walk into: warm, expressive, a little glamorous, and open to everyone.
She also co-founded Bakery X, our French-inspired in-house bakery, and curates the Madame X Collective — the artists, DJs, musicians and performers who bring Babe to life.
